We all know that when the holidays are upon us, busy schedules get in the way of our workouts, food/treats are a plenty, and stress levels run high. Our annual Holiday Challenge aims to keep your workouts consistent and will provide you with healthy holiday eating tips and tools to manage stress levels. The overall goal of the program is to NOT let the busyness of the season get in the way of your health. Make it through the holiday season healthier with Galter LIfeCenter! Join us and earn a prize! Stay on track! Be accountable! Stay fit and healthy!

Goal:
Manage holiday stress and excess by exercising at least 150 minutes per week to maintain weight or 300 minutes per week if you are aiming for weight loss. Feel great throughout the holiday season by maintaining or losing weight!

How to participate:
1. Register for the challenge before November 28.
2. Record your weight at the beginning and end of the challenge to help keep you accountable (optional).
3. Complete an average of at least 150 minutes of exercise each week.
4. Record your workouts and report back your weekly totals for 6 weeks.

Prizes:
Participants that complete an average of at least 150 minutes of exercise per week and submit their results weekly throughout the challenge will receive a long-sleeve shirt.

Logging your workouts:
This year we will be sending out weekly emails from Survey Monkey to collect your workout information. We recommend tracking your activities daily on an app or this log sheet to help you keep track of your weekly totals.

Check-out dates:  TBD… We will be hosting a drive-up prize pick-up day in our parking lot for participants to check out and pick up their shirts in a socially distanced fashion. More info coming soon.

Registration will be open November 15-28, 2020 under the Courses/Events Schedule on the My Wellness portal.
